Because it does not require an excessive amount of specialized knowledge to care for it, the Guppy is a breed that is very popular among those who are just starting out with aquariums. A straightforward freshwater tank containing a variety of plants and substrate is all that is required for it. South America is their natural home, and it was there in 1866 that they were discovered for the first time. There are a few other names for the Guppy, including the Million Fish and the Rainbow Fish.
This species can be found in a wide range of colors and morphological forms. On the market, you'll discover variations in a variety of colors, including red, grey, blue, and many others. The type of lizard also determines the shape of its tail, which can vary greatly. However, there is one thing that is consistent: each and every Guppy looks absolutely stunning in a community tank.
Guppies are typically calm fish that get along well with other types of fish and can even be housed in the same tank. They will be seen swimming throughout the day (usual behavior).
