One of the most common causes of ear infections is the moisture that gets trapped in your dog's ear after swimming or bathing. Use a dry cotton ball or a hairdryer with a cool air setting to get rid of any excess moisture in your dog’s ear. Make sure that your dog can't scratch the ear while it's being dried.
